Hiring - Business Development Manager - California

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, award-winning IT consulting and solutions firm based in California.

They’re now looking to expand their dynamic team with a Business Development Manager (BDM) who is passionate about driving new client acquisition and building lasting partnerships.

About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients. This role involves strategic prospecting, planning, and execution of outreach efforts, along with regular collaboration with recruiters to ensure client needs are fully met.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, identify, and pursue prospective clients for both temporary and permanent staffing needs

Create and execute strategic marketing and outreach plans to develop new accounts

Engage in outside sales activities including client meetings, door-to-door prospecting, networking events, and campus visits

Partner closely with recruiters to align client requirements with top talent

Negotiate terms and close deals in line with company targets and expectations

What They're Looking For:

2+ Years of proven experience in consultative sales with strong executive-level negotiation skills

Specific experience with Cisco is a MUST

A proactive, self-starting attitude with a relentless drive for new business acquisition

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across internal teams

Established networks within regional markets and key industry verticals

High level of integrity, motivation, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement

A strong commitment to contributing to a positive, diverse, and inclusive team culture
