Account Manager
We are hiring an Account Manager for our employer client in the Commercial Marine Industry | Seattle, WA (80% in office, 20% on-site client visits)
Our employer client is a supplier in the commercial marine industry. The Account Manager will grow and maintain relationships with chief stewards, factory managers and vessel operators.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients in the commercial fishing and seafood industries.
- Conduct on-site visits to ships and vessels, engaging with key personnel and processing procurement orders.
- Oversee account management responsibilities, ensuring consistent product availability and high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a relaxed office setting adjacent to a warehouse.
- Support purchasing activities and contribute to various small-business operations as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Expertise – Experience in commercial fishing, seafood processing, or maritime industries.
- Confident & Assertive Communicator – Comfortable working on large vessels
- Relationship-Focused Approach – Strong account management skills, prioritizing long-term client relationships over aggressive sales tactics.
- Detail-Oriented & Proactive – Skilled in managing logistics and procurement with accuracy and efficiency.
- Security Clearance – Possesses a TWIC card or can pass a federal background check.
